    Much better than other Chinese places we tried around Bethany. The white meat Gen Tso Chicken was better than expected. Take out called in was ready fast. Singapore rice noodle, shrimp with lobster sauce, and shrimp toast was as good as you'd get in most places in the DC area.

    Today is 8/13/2019...just got home from ordering from Hunan Royale. Now we had a large order, 7 in my family. After spending nearly $70 WE have NEVER been so disappointed. EVERYTHING we ordered was absolutely TASTELESS! The shrimp toast you could wring out, it was so greasy. The main dishes had no flavor. We will NEVER return here. This was our FIRST and last time!!! Didn't want to even give it 1 star...smh

    The people here (especially the woman) are extremely rude. They continuously got our order wrong then wanted us to pay extra for what THEY got wrong. The food was definitely not worth the hassle either. We left with a headache & bad taste in our mouths. I absolutely do not recommend. As we sat in their restaurant, we watched as they handed wrong orders to other customers aswell. AWFUL.

    Food was pretty good. I saw they had free Wi-Fi but the password isn't available unless you ask for it. I was happy with the prices and the cleanliness of the restaurant, but a little more shrimp in the shrimp fried rice couldn't hurt.

    Hunan Royale is one of only a few Chinese-style restaurants in the area. As many other reviews have stated, it is not gourmet food but it is better than you might expect.

    The prices are decent, the service could have been a little faster, and the menu has a good amount of choices. I enjoyed the General Tso's Chicken, the lo mein, and the fried rice.

    It's not super authentic Chinese cuisine but it's good to satisfy a takeout craving.
